The cost of advertising in your channel is one of the most important metrics that advertisers pay attention to.
If the advertiser has a limited budget, most often, he or she will compare channels of similar topics in the catalog.
Channels with too high or too low a cost will raise suspicion among the advertiser and may be weeded out in the selection process.
How can you avoid this situation? Adjust the cost of your channel relative to the market price.
What should be done?
Go to the “Analytics of Telegram channels” section. It contains data on all active Telegram channels. Among this list, you will find yours. Use the search bar or filter by topic.
Each channel has an FV (CPM) value in the list, which is the fair value of the channel. It is calculated by the formula:
ppv * number of subscribers
ppv = AVG (ad cost) / AVG (average views)
How much is your channel worth?
Specify parameters similar to your channel in the filter: subject, ER, number of subscribers.
In the results, you will see the cost of the channels and will be able to determine the average value.
The example shows that channels from 2,000 subscribers to 6,000 in the Business and Startups category with ER of 20% subject cost an average of $30, which is a fair value for the subject.
You can also calculate the cost of the channel through the CPM topics. To do this, go to the “Telegram channels statistics” section and find the topic of your channel.
CPM is the cost of 1,000 impressions.
CPM = cost of ad placement / number of views * 1,000 impressions.
To find out the estimated cost on your channel, multiply the CPM of the topic by the number of your posts and divide by 1,000.
